What to Expect During an After Filler Treatment

We typically use a topical numbing cream before injections to make sure that you are comfortable during the treatment. The injections will take somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour depending on what you are having done.

Before your treatment we will discuss modifying or discontinuing certain medications such as over-the-counter pain medications or blood thinners to decrease the likelihood of bruising.

After your treatment you will see an immediate effect. However over the next few days you may experience some swelling of the filler as it adjusts to being in your face. This swelling should resolve over the next week or so and your final result should settle in quickly after that.
